Idemitsu Petroleum Norge (IPN) is a subsidiary of the Idemitsu group, one of Japan’s largest energy corporations.
We entered the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) in 1989 by acquiring a stake in the Snorre field.

Our office is located in Oslo and we currently employ around 60 highly skilled and experienced professionals.

IPN is partner in nine producing fields and more than 20 exploration licenses all across the NCS.
We are also participating in a number of discoveries currently being evaluated for development, among them the Astero, C-East, Wisting and Alta discoveries.
